ISLAMABAD, Aug 21: Another 25 villages have been submerged under water after a new flood tide made its way into Ganda Kha locality of Jaffarabad Saturday morning meanwhile floodwater level is witnessing a constant alarming surge in Dera Allahyar district.
Floodwater level in Dera Allahyar District has risen further to 16-feet now, witnesses told media adding that the districts Dera Allahyar and Ostah Mohammed have stayed disconnected to other parts of world for six consecutive day, private news channel reported.
According to officials from Irrigation Department, floodwater, ravaging many villages across Punjab, has now entered Gandha Khan locality of Jaffarabad district, wiping out over 250 villages so far.
